Vintners Reserve

We are pleased to announce the launch of two outstanding new VINTNERS RESERVE products. Available July 1st, 2011.

Diablo Rojo – Dark purple in colour with a nose of blackberry jam melded with creamy vanilla aromas and a touch of tobacco. Rich in the mouth, with gently smooth tannins and rich, ripe plum and berry flavours. The finish is long and fruit-filled, with the perfect amount of toasty oak. This off dry red wine is perfect for enjoying right away, delicious with robust foods and excellent all on its own.

Ángel Blanco – An easy drinking, well-rounded white wine, with appealing fruit flavours and aromas. Rich and boldly fruity from a multi-vinifera blend that delivers up a floral aromatic nose and a fine mix of peachy, honey, pineapple fruit finishing with a perfect balance of acidity and fruitiness. Serve well chilled before dinner or pair it up with spicy foods to tame the heat and compliment your cuisine.

Pure Water Refills

At DiVine Wines, pure water is essential in producing wines of the utmost quality.  Our water goes through 5 stages of purification, including reverse osmosis, carbon filtration and ultraviolet light treatment to ensure the best quality drinking water for you. 

18.9 Liter pure water refills only $2.50 each.  Purchase a pre-paid water punch card and save even more (only $22.50 for 10 refills with punch card).  As always, we offer FREE water bottle sanitizing upon request and we’ll even carry those heavy water bottles to your car if needed.

On-site Reverse Osmosis water treatment system provided by the Water Experts at Culligan.

Monthly Tip

Wine on the deck

If you want to enjoy a nice glass of wine out on the patio or deck, but find the bugs are just too annoying, try this simple yet effective trick to get rid of those pesky critters.  Simply take an egg crate (not the styrofoam kind) and light one end on fire for a few seconds.  Blow out the flame and place the smoldering crate in a smudge pot.  The smoke emitted from this keeps bugs away and one egg crate will smolder for up to half an hour.  Alternatively, a coffee cup tray from Tim’s is equally effective.  I personally tried this on the weekend and it really works. 🙂
